Helen (aka mini_milly04 aka Patchy Works of Mini Grey) made this great button for the Bushfire Quilt Project.
If you’d like to post this button on your blog, you can copy the code below:

I have to say, I’m so thrilled with the level of participation Tia is receiving. There are 160 members of the Flickr group, over 100 photos posted of blocks that have been assembled, even a whole quilt top! She’s gathering quilters in her area to assemble the blocks and finish the quilts. She’s received donations of backing and batting (and thread, I believe) from Kim at Honeysuckle Cottage quilt shop. She’s found hundreds of people who want to do something to help.
We’re having another family (and friends) sewing day on Saturday, and they’re going to work on some Wonky Stars (and maybe some non-Wonky Stars). Unfortunately I have to work, so my contribution will be cutting the fabric – I have squares and scraps cut for a dozen stars, and I’m cutting more tomorrow. I’d like to put together 25 stars and send a completed top – maybe even a finished quilt. We’ll see how it goes…
