Remember to breathe! 🙂
I found it interesting that you put your top on a roller~ I always let mine float.
Hope the struggles are over and you are having fun! 🙂
Looks terrific on the frame!!! Way to go!!!! (my longarmer rolls tops, too, just like you have)
Can’t wait to see what you do with it. Will she do a feather pattern?
No. She most definitely will not.
Actually, I was going to give it a try, but as I got to the area I realized that it would be impossible to see the quilting (black thread on black print). I decided to do a vining leaf instead, and I’m glad I did. The part I thought would be easy (bottom left corner of the practice piece) is turning out to be agony. I didn’t think about the fact that I have to sew directly over a thick seam intersection, so it’s looking a little rough. I can’t stop, though. Mom is going to hand sew the binding down and we have to have it finished in about a week. Must move forward. I’m almost halfway through.
I am just a beginner at long arm quilting. But, I am excited to learn. I appreciate all of your photos and advice.
What fun! I am so jealous!
Don’t be just yet. I’m struggling today.
